What are Chief Radiographers?

Chief Radiographers are senior professionals responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a radiology department in healthcare settings such as hospitals or clinics. They manage radiography staff, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, coordinate imaging services, and often participate in departmental planning and budgeting. Chief Radiographers also play a key role in training staff, implementing new technologies, and maintaining patient care standards.
