Job description

Our client is looking for an experienced Chief Operating Officer. The COO will oversee the Company's core operating divisions while leading the execution of strategic initiatives designed to accelerate growth, improve scalability, and expand the Company's leadership position within their industry.


This individual will be responsible for optimizing and scaling the Company's existing businesses while helping develop the next generation of products, services, technologies, locations, and business models. The COO will play a critical role in translating the President's vision and strategic priorities into measurable organizational results.


*This position is 5 days on-site in Orange County*


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Company's various divisions.
  • Improve operational efficiency, client experience, and profitability across all business units.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), operating dashboards, and performance management systems across the organization.
  • Oversee inventory management strategies and controls.
  • Improve inventory forecasting, purchasing, pricing, and working capital management.
  • Develop operating plans for new business initiatives and expansion opportunities.
  • Participate in the creation of new business models, products, services, and revenue streams.
  • Lead operational planning and execution for new domestic and international offices.
  • Support acquisition sourcing, due diligence, integration planning, and post-acquisition execution.
  • Identify opportunities to automate processes and increase organizational efficiency.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing employees and future leaders.


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, business management, consulting, investment banking, technology, or a related field.
  • Understanding of inventory management practices.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with large data sets.
  • Experience developing KPIs, dashboards, reporting systems, and performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
