Position Overview:
The company is seeking a strategic, business-oriented Chief Information Officer (CIO) to serve as the senior technology executive responsible for shaping and executing the enterprise technology vision. • Define and lead an enterprise technology strategy that directly supports business growth, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, cybersecurity maturity, and long-term digital transformation.
  • Provide executive oversight for the architecture, modernization, integration, security, and performance of enterprise technology platforms, infrastructure, applications, networks, data systems, and business-critical operational technologies.
  • Lead technology operations across diverse business environments, including convenience store point-of-sale systems, tavern operations, gaming systems, hospitality platforms, hotel property management systems, casino operations technology, surveillance integrations, revenue systems, and related back-office platforms.
  • Establish disciplined technology governance, investment planning, vendor management, budgeting, and resource allocation practices that align technology spend with enterprise priorities and measurable business outcomes.
  • Anticipate emerging technologies, industry trends, cybersecurity risks, regulatory changes, and operational innovations, and translate them into practical strategies that strengthen competitiveness and performance.
  • Own enterprise technology risk management, cybersecurity, business continuity, disaster recovery, data protection, systems availability, and incident response capabilities.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing IT organization with clear accountability, strong service orientation, operational discipline, and succession-ready leadership capability.
  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to executive leadership and business unit leaders, ensuring technology decisions are aligned with enterprise strategy, operational priorities, guest experience, compliance requirements, and financial performance.
  • Partner with leaders across convenience stores, taverns, gaming, hotel, food and beverage, retail, finance, compliance, marketing, human resources, and resort-casino operations to ensure technology platforms enable efficiency, revenue generation, scalability, and service excellence.
  • Develop and enforce enterprise policies, standards, controls, and operating procedures that support regulatory compliance, data privacy, internal controls, responsible gaming obligations, and secure technology operations.
  • Provide clear, concise, and business-focused reporting to the executive team, internal stakeholders as appropriate, and other senior leaders regarding technology strategy, project execution, enterprise risks, service performance, and investment priorities.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field required; master's degree or equivalent executive education preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive technology leadership experience, including senior-level responsibility for enterprise IT strategy, operations, cybersecurity, infrastructure, applications, vendor partnerships, and technology transformation.
  • Demonstrated executive-level IT operational expertise in multi-unit, highly regulated, guest-facing environments, preferably including convenience stores, taverns, gaming operations, and integrated resort-hotel-casinos.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, cloud and infrastructure strategy, systems integration, data governance, application lifecycle management, and mission-critical technology operations.
  • Proven ability to build, lead, and retain high-performing technology teams while fostering accountability, service excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Exceptional executive communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical topics into clear business implications for senior leadership, operations teams, regulators, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Strategic, analytical, and financially disciplined decision-maker with the ability to prioritize enterprise initiatives, manage risk, solve complex problems, and drive measurable business value through technology.
  • Deep knowledge of technology governance, cybersecurity frameworks, regulatory compliance, privacy requirements, internal controls, audit readiness, and business continuity practices.
  • Working knowledge of technology platforms and operational requirements commonly used in gaming, hospitality, retail, food and beverage, fuel or convenience store operations, including systems availability, cybersecurity, compliance, incident response, vendor management, surveillance integrations, and business continuity.
  • Ability to lead effectively in a fast-paced, highly regulated, 24/7 operating environment with competing priorities, complex stakeholder needs, and critical uptime requirements.

This is an opportunity for a proven technology executive to shape the future of enterprise systems, strengthen operational performance, and serve as a strategic partner in advancing the company's growth, resilience, compliance, and guest experience objectives.
