You will spend most days supervising the accounting team, networking with stakeholders, and meeting with other executive colleagues. A Chief Financial Officer’s job has two key parts: managing the day-to-day monetary picture and advising leadership on the overall financial strategy. This may include creating and presenting financial reports to boards and colleagues. Chief Financial Officers may also play a role in hiring for the company, especially for other high-level financial positions within the organization.
