Mid-Continent Hospitality is seeking an experienced and dedicated Chief Engineer to lead our hotel’s maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the property’s physical structure, ensuring all systems are operating efficiently, and upholding brand standards for safety and security. This is a leadership role requiring strong technical expertise, organizational skills, and a commitment to guest satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of hotel maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as Marriott brand standards.
  • Implement and manage preventive maintenance programs to enhance the longevity of equipment and facilities.
  • Lead, train, and develop the engineering team to maintain a high standard of performance.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs, inspections, and capital improvement projects.
  • Monitor energy usage and implement cost-saving measures to improve efficiency.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and hotel staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and inspections.
  • Uphold safety and security standards, including fire prevention, emergency procedures, and OSHA compliance.


Qualifications:
