Position Type: Fullโ€‘Time / Partโ€‘Time.

Salary Range: $155,000.00 - $189,952.00.

Job Shift: Any.

Position Overview

The purpose of the Chief Inspector is to inspect and coordinate the construction project, ensuring the contractor performs in a workmanlike manner in accordance with company specifications. The Chief Inspector ensures the project proceeds in accordance with the Contract Document requirements and Construction Drawings, and all necessary forms are completed and transmitted to the Construction Office. The Chief Inspector will also interview inspectors, issue reference manuals and documents, define required conduct, expectations, duties, and coordinate and manage activities of all inspectors. From time to time, the Chief Inspector will have contact with state and local agencies associated or impacted by the project as directed by the company. The Chief Inspector will encourage a Safety First culture for the company's employees and contractors. Safety is also a priority beyond the individual. Maintaining the integrity of the company's pipelines and other facilities will ensure the health and safety of customers and communities.

The position requires acting in an ethical manner and should be aware of company policies regarding work ethics, including but not limited to gifts, entertainment, trips, etc. offered by contractors, vendors, suppliers, or other stakeholders.
