Job description

Job Title: CPG Business Head โ€“ USA Level : Director or Sr. Director

Reporting to: Chief Client Officer

Location: Atlanta (preferred); NY/NJ open.

Role Purpose

The CPG Business Head will own and scale the U.S. Consumer Packaged Goods portfolio globally, with full P&L responsibility. The mandate is to drive accelerated growth, deepen executive relationships across strategic clients, and position analytics-led transformation as a core lever of competitive advantage.

This leader will ideally bring to the table enterprise-scale portfolio ownership experience from large global technology/services firms combined with subsequent P&L leadership experience in a specialized analytics organization . The role requires strong commercial and sales acumen, domain depth in CPG, alliance partnership mindset (we work with DataBricks) and the ability to scale multi-year analytics partnerships working across business, IT and procurement organizations of the client.

Business & P&L Leadership

Own and manage a CPG portfolio with accountability for revenue growth, margin expansion, and overall profitability

Drive strategic account planning and multi-year growth roadmaps across priority CPG clients

Identify and convert large transformation opportunities into scalable annuity revenue streams

Ensure disciplined commercial governance across pricing, contracting, and margin management

Lead portfolio reviews, pipeline rigor, and forecasting discipline across accounts

Develop and execute the U.S. CPG growth strategy, with a strong focus on Food & Beverage

Expand footprint within existing enterprise accounts through cross-sell and upsell of analytics capabilities

Build executive-level relationships (CXO and business unit heads) across enterprise, commercial, supply chain, marketing, IT and procurement functions

Drive new logo acquisition within strategic CPG segments

Strengthen positioning within consumer industry ecosystems including food services distribution, retail, foodservices aggregators and QSR

Champion advanced Commercial Analytics solutions across:

Revenue Growth Management (RGM)

Category Vision

Marketing and Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM)

Route-to-Market

Support expansion into adjacent areas including:

Integrated Business Planning (IBP)

Demand planning and supply chain analytics

Translate analytics outcomes into measurable business value for client leadership teams

Client & Delivery Governance

Ensure high-impact delivery across complex, multi-workstream engagements

Partner with delivery leadership to maintain quality, scalability, and client satisfaction

Drive value realization conversations and outcome-led engagement models

Build trusted advisor status within key CPG accounts

Team Leadership & Capability Building

Build and mentor high-performing account and industry leadership teams

Establish strong operating cadence across sales, delivery, and solution teams

Foster a performance-driven culture with clear growth and profitability accountability

Develop next-line leaders within the CPG vertical

Experience

15+ years of experience with a career focus in CPG

Proven P&L ownership within a large global technology/services organization

Subsequent P&L leadership experience within a specialized analytics firm

Strong experience in Commercial Analytics (RGM, Category Management, Portfolio Management, Route-to-Market)

Exposure to beverage segment strongly preferred

Experience working across Retail and QSR segments desirable

Exposure to Supply Chain (IBP) and Marketing Analytics (MMM) preferred

MBA preferred

Executive presence with strong boardroom credibility

Blend of strategic thinker and hands-on operator with a growth mindset
