Job description

POSITION: Bi-Lingual Kitchen Leader

Pay Rate: $18-$21/hr. Rate of pay varies based on work hour commitment and experience. Must be bi-lingual with Spanish/English.

Reports to: Varies based on position of hire.

Supervisor for: Team Members and Team Trainers (may include supervision of leaders based on level of hire).

Job description:

This position works closely with team members and team trainers in running the day to day operation of the restaurant kitchen/back of house. Includes 1 open, 1 mid, and 1 close per week, with flexibility on when these occur.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintain customer first mentality.
  • Execute tasks with a sense of urgency at all times.
  • Demonstrate a consistent commitment to Taste, Accuracy, Speed of Service, Cleanliness, and A.C.E. (Attentive, Courteous, and Engaging) service
  • Lead shifts with a food safety mindset ensuring safety checks are complete and food timers are used.
  • Coach and train Team Members on Chick-fil-A standards using the Chick-fil-A Training Program.
  • Perform tasks according to Chick-fil-A brand standards.
  • Participate in leadership meetings and development tasks.
  • Communicate clearly and regularly with senior leadership and peers through face to face conversations, planning tools, and software applications.
  • Leads by example in following Chick-fil-A Olathe policies, as well as enforcing them.
  • Ownership of all aspects of the shift. (planning, breaks, station set-up, task delegation, procedural adherence, etc.)
  • Reviews team member performance twice a year and administers performance reviews.
  • Contributes to a positive culture by acting with intentional authenticity, joyful unity, and servant-led development.
