Job description

Show Flooring is Chicagoland’s destination for discount flooring, and we’re looking for a motivated Warehouse LEAD to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading a team, and wants to grow with a family-owned business.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and schedule warehouse staff to ensure smooth daily operations

  • Safely load/unload customers purchasing material

  • Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments and deliveries

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date inventory of all flooring products

  • Operate a forklift safely and efficiently

  • Enforce OSHA safety standards and keep the warehouse clean and organized

  • Assist customers on the sales floor when needed

  • Track and report material usage, damages, and returns

  • Communicate effectively with management, colleagues, and customers

Requirements

  • Previous warehouse, logistics, or inventory management experience

  • Leadership experience (training, scheduling, delegating tasks)

  • Forklift certification (or ability to obtain quickly)

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift

  • Must be available to work weekends
