Overview
ECPI University is seeking a Cybersecurity Faculty Member with expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI) to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME). This role focuses on integrating AI into cybersecurity and networking curriculum while delivering engaging instruction.
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as SME for AI applications in cybersecurity and networking
  • Collaborate with academic leadership to develop and refine AI-focused curriculum
  • Teach courses related to cybersecurity, networking, and AI integration
  • Apply innovative teaching strategies to enhance student outcomes
  • Integrate emerging AI tools, techniques, and real-world use cases into instruction
  • Stay current with advancements in AI and cybersecurity

Qualifications
Education
  • Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
    OR
  • Master's degree with 18+ graduate semester hours in the discipline
  • Ph.D. strongly preferred

Experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in Artificial Intelligence applications in cybersecurity
  • 3-5 years of relevant industry experience (10+ years preferred)
  • Teaching, training, or speaking experience preferred

Technical Skills
Required:
  • AI/ML concepts and applications in cybersecurity
  • Networking fundamentals
  • Windows and Linux systems

Preferred:
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
  • Security automation and AI-driven threat detection

Certifications (Preferred)
  • CISSP
