J-Tec Material Handling is the process engineering business unit of the group, offering material handling and process engineering solutions to the industry market leaders in the chemical and food industries all over the world. We build turnkey process installations for our customers. Our company always strives to make a difference in terms of inventively, flexibility and performance. We execute both greenโ€‘ and brownfield projects of different sizes with an average implementation time of one to two years.

Responsibilities

J-Tec Material Handling is looking for a Technical Account Manager responsible for the followโ€‘up and execution of retrofit orders. You are the first point of contact for customers and handle both technical and commercial requests (SPQs). You coordinate projects from A to Z, ensuring control over planning and budget, while working closely with internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors.

In this role, you evaluate customer inquiries, prepare and follow up on quotations, and negotiate additional works. You are responsible for purchasing materials, aligning internally to prepare interventions, and keeping all order data up to date in the ERP system. You also create tickets for followโ€‘up and invoicing, ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, report to the Business Line Manager, and guarantee accurate administrative handling, including timesheets and project planning.

Qualifications
  • You possess a higher technical degree (Bachelor or Master)
  • Solid general technical knowledge of electronics, electricity, and mechanics.
  • Strong analytical skills with a problemโ€‘solving and accurate mindset.
  • You can work independently and act at the same time as a team player.
  • Your strong commercial mindset enables you to understand customer needs and expectations and position yourself as a trusted partner.
  • Excellent communication skills, with native proficiency in Dutch, fluency in English, and additional knowledge of French and German considered an asset.

Required experience: 5 years.
