Summary

Reporting to a Production Supervisor, the Chemical Mixer will join our team to support a dynamic and ever changing manufacturing environment by compounding / mixing our extensive line of water treatment products manufactured here in Greenville, Texas. Responsibilities:

Manufacture various products according to standards at Mohawk Labs. Manage and maintain assets in this area including: Equipment and Controls, Operating Supplies, Inventory Control, Co-Workers. Contribute to continuous improvement in the organization.

Job Duties

  • Clean, operate and maintain equipment in area including totes, pumps, mixing vessels, and raw material lines as needed.
  • Read, interpret and execute specifications from work order.
  • Manufacture batches based on work orders.
  • Provide detailed paper work flow to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Plan and perform batch set up and changeover processes.
  • Pour and weigh raw material as needed.
  • Handle Hazardous Waste and Control Waste Stream/Flow
  • Keeps Work Area Clean and Free of Safety Hazards
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally move drums up to 400 lbs.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Position Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Previous experience in a batch manufacturing environment
  • Basic Math Skills
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders
