Job description

Kendal at Hanover is a non-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community and home to 400+ residents located in Hanover, New Hampshire.
Kendal at Hanover is seeking a full-time Rounds Cook.
Work Schedule: 10:30 AM - 7:30 PM with weekends required.
Pay: $22.00 - $26.50 per hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
  • Assisting in food preparation.
  • Maintaining sanitary work and service area .
  • Completing HACCP temperature logs during hot food meal service.
  • Opening kitchen and dining room areas.
  • Coordinating and preparing for meal service, which includes following production and prep sheets for all dining areas, having foods ready for service on time, and ensuring all special dietary meals are prepared properly.
  • Coordinating and preparing salads
  • Inventories food orders as directed by the Executive Chef.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college/university; OR
  • 1 to 2 years of related experience and/or training; OR
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience.
