Job description

Description:

This position is accountable for overall success of the daily kitchen and assists, when necessary, with showroom operations. Exhibits culinary talents by personally performing tasks while working closely with the Chef to maintain the direction that the Chef and Brand Ambassador has given. Works to continually improve guestsโ€™ satisfaction while maximizing the financial performance. Supervises showroom kitchen to ensure consistent, high-quality food and training is produced. Responsible for guiding and developing cleaning staff. Must ensure sanitation and food standards are achieved. Areas of responsibility comprise of championing all brands, continuously remaining up to date on food trends and all brands appliance product knowledge, product education, assist chef with event planning, building training events, content creation, social media and tech savvy, public speaking, food procurement, production of food, execution of food, and overall cleanliness of showroom.


JOB RESPONSIBITIES:

  • Ensuring all food produced meets the highest quality standards and is served in a timely manner.
  • Assist Chef & Brand Ambassador with planning menus and creative input on plating presentation.
  • Coordinates, training, additional kitchen/showroom staff and manages their performance.
  • Stocktaking ingredients and equipment, and procuring orders as needed.
  • Enforcing best practices for safety, sanitation, and organization in the kitchen.
  • Continuously learning Middleby products and keeping track of trends that can assist in showing equipment well.
  • Support the companyโ€™s social media strategy through engagement with social media channels, customers, and industry culinary communities, working closely with Chef & Brand Ambassador to provide content and customer experience feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with Middleby Residential Marketing regarding the development of specific content, video production, etc.
  • Other miscellaneous duties assigned by supervisor.
