Sous Chef

Brookfield, WI


The Sous Chef at Westmoor Country Club will assist the Executive Chef in leading daily kitchen operations and will help ensure exceptional food quality for our members and guests in a la carte dining, special events, and private functions. This is a full-time position with benefits. Experience is required; experience in a private club, resort, or high-volume professional kitchen setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in supervising and coordinating kitchen operations for a la carte dining, special events, private functions, and banquet service.
  • Prepare and oversee a variety of established cold and hot menu items.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all menus, recipes, and culinary standards.
  • Help ensure high standards of quality, consistency, sanitation, and food safety.
  • Support the Executive Chef in station setup, organization, scheduling, and training of kitchen staff.
  • Assist with ordering, stocking, receiving, storage organization, and inventory control.
