Job Details
Security Checkpoint Clerks are needed in Houston, TX
  • Clerks - FT & PT/Evening and Overnight Shifts - $17.75/hr - Weekly Pay
Requirements
  • Must be 18yo or older
  • Must have valid Driver's License with at least three years of driving experience and a clean driving record
  • Must pass a background check and drug test, including marijuana
  • Must possess TX Level II Training Certificate (original and/or refresher)
  • Must be willing to perform eight hours of training within six months of employment
  • Supervisors must possess at least one year of security and supervisory experience
Responsibilities
  • Checking trucks in and out using a tablet and software
  • Mobile patrols of truck yard
  • Maintaining a visible patrol
  • Monitoring entrances
  • Making sure that the premises are locked and secure
  • Monitoring alarm and security systems
  • Maintaining security equipment
  • Executing emergency procedures
  • Interacting with the public, providing customer service
  • Using verbal de-escalation techniques to manage conflicts
  • Assisting with restraining individuals who pose a safety risk
  • Calling for law enforcement
