As a Security Officer Full Time Screening Checkpoint Officer in Canal Winchester, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring access points, screening personnel and visitors, and reporting security-related concerns. You will remain visible, communicate professionally, and help deter incidents while providing exceptional customer service. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen employees, visitors, drivers, packages, and/or vehicles entering or departing the facility in accordance with established access control procedures.
• Monitor access points, shipping and receiving areas, and screening equipment; document observations, irregularities, and security-related incidents.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated business areas and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
