Commercial Operations Specialist (Call Center)

Location: Riverside, RI (Onsite – Training & Job Location)
Pay rate: $24.17/hr W2
Duration: 5-Month Contract
100% Onsite (5 Days/Week)

    • Monday - Friday 9:30am - 5:30pm, hours subject to change due to business needs

Job Summary

We are seeking a Commercial Operations Specialist to support Commercial Banking clients by providing exceptional customer service for Cash Management, ACH, and Commercial Card products. This role involves handling customer inquiries via phone, chat, and email, troubleshooting technical and operational issues, and partnering with internal teams to deliver timely resolutions while ensuring an outstanding client experience.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to Cash Management, ACH, and Commercial Card customers via phone, chat, and email.
  • Research customer inquiries and educate clients on banking products and services.
  • Troubleshoot, resolve, or escalate technical, system, and procedural issues.
  • Partner with internal operations teams to resolve client issues and improve service delivery.
  • Perform root cause analysis to identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements.
  • Support implementation of solutions that improve service levels and client experience.
  • Maintain high service quality while meeting productivity and performance goals.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers.

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Customer Service and/or Call Center experience.
  • Banking experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and active listening skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfortable working independently while meeting productivity goals.
  • Proficient with computers and multiple software applications.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

 

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
