We provide person-centered services that promote independence, inclusion, and personal growth, creating a supportive, welcoming community for participants, families, and staff alike.


Position: Support Specialistย 

As a Support Specialist, you'll support a participant by providing a variety of services, helping them achieve personal goals, strengthen independence, and engage in community life. You'll work directly in their home and out in the community, providing meaningful support tailored to individual needs.


What You'll Do / Day-to-Day

Responsibilities vary based on each participant's goals and support needs and may include:

  • Assisting with daily living routines in the home, such as cooking, cleaning, and personal organization
  • Supporting participants in developing life skills that promote independence and personal growth
  • Providing support in the community, including social, recreational, and daily activities
  • Assisting participants with employment-related goals, including job coaching, prompting, and workplace support
  • Documenting progress, observations, and updates, and communicating with the Full Life team

Qualifications

We welcome compassionate candidates from all backgrounds - no experience is required. Training is provided. Required qualifications:

  • 18 years or older

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (speaking and writing)

  • High School Diploma or GED (or ability to demonstrate key skills)

  • CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

  • Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record

  • Tuberculosis clearance (Full Life will assist with this)

  • Starting pay is $20.00/hour for part-time and $21.50/hour for full-time positions.ย Shifts that include employment support are compensated at $23.00/hour.
