Job description

Tri-Township Consolidated School Corporation is seeking a reliable and dedicated School Bus Driver to join our transportation team. The successful candidate will ensure the safe and efficient transportation of students to and from school, field trips, and other school-related activities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport students to and from school, following designated routes and schedules.
  • Ensure the safety of all students during transportation, including enforcing school bus safety rules.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Communicate effectively with school staff, students, and parents.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary bus environment.
  • Report any mechanical issues or incidents to the transportation director.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and school district policies.


Qualifications:

  • Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with Passenger and School Bus Endorsements.
  • Clean driving record with no recent traffic violations.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience and ability to work with children of all ages.

Hours & Compensation:
