Chapter Manager information

What is a Chapter Manager?

A Chapter Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating a specific group or 'chapter' within a larger organization, such as a professional association, non-profit, or business network. Their duties typically include organizing events, managing membership, facilitating communication among members, and ensuring the chapter meets its goals and aligns with the overall mission of the organization. Chapter Managers often serve as the main point of contact for chapter members and represent the chapter to the broader organization. They may also oversee budgets, recruit new members, and support local initiatives.

How does a Chapter Manager typically support the growth and engagement of chapter members within an organization?

A Chapter Manager plays a key role in fostering member engagement by organizing events, facilitating communication, and ensuring alignment with the overall goals of the parent organization. They often coordinate volunteer efforts, provide resources to members, and gather feedback to improve chapter activities. Collaborating closely with leadership teams and other chapters, they help implement best practices and drive initiatives that encourage active participation and professional development. This role offers opportunities to develop strong leadership and project management skills, which can lead to advancement within the organization.

What is the highest paying manager position?

The highest paying manager positions are typically executive roles such as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Operating Officer (COO), and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), which often have salaries exceeding several hundred thousand dollars annually. Among managerial roles, senior-level positions in industries like finance, technology, and healthcare tend to offer the highest compensation, especially with advanced skills and extensive experience.

What is the difference between Chapter Manager vs Event Coordinator?

AspectChapter Manager

Work Environment
Leads chapter activities, manages volunteers, and coordinates events within a specific region or organization
Employer & Industry Usage

Comparison Summary

The Chapter Manager typically has more responsibilities related to leadership and long-term chapter development.

What is the difference between a chapter lead and a manager?

A Chapter Manager typically oversees a specific skill set or competency within an organization, focusing on developing members' expertise and ensuring quality standards. A Chapter Lead often has broader leadership responsibilities, including strategic planning, team coordination, and representing the chapter to stakeholders. Both roles require strong communication and leadership skills but differ in scope and focus.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Chapter Manager, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Chapter Manager, you need strong organizational leadership, program management experience, and often a background in nonprofit or association management. Familiarity with CRM systems, event management platforms, and budgeting tools is typically required. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills help you engage members and coordinate volunteers effectively. These abilities are crucial for ensuring chapter growth, member satisfaction, and the successful execution of events and initiatives.

How do you get a manager position?

To become a Chapter Manager, candidates typically need relevant experience in leadership, organizational skills, and knowledge of the organization's mission. Demonstrating strong communication, problem-solving abilities, and a track record of managing teams or projects can improve chances. Often, promotions are based on performance, tenure, and the ability to handle increased responsibilities.

What are the 5 key responsibilities of a manager?

A Chapter Manager is responsible for overseeing chapter operations, developing and implementing strategic plans, managing team members, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, and coordinating events or initiatives. They also monitor performance metrics and foster member engagement to support chapter growth and success.

Job description

Chapter Director - Las Vegas

CEO Life | Private Membership Club for CEOs, Founders & Entrepreneurs

Location: Las Vegas, NV
Type: Independent Partner / Commission-Based
Reports To: Chapter President

The Club

CEO Life is a private invite-only membership community built for CEOs, founders, and leaders who want more than a network.

We're not a mastermind. We're not a leads group. We're the room where ambitious people actually want to be - happy hours and business round tables, fine dining and theatre, courtside seats and concerts, and destination trips worth traveling for. Rooted locally. Connected nationally. Built on the belief that trust forms first, and opportunity follows naturally.

Membership is by application and invitation only. What we're building in every city is simple: Gather. Grow. Give.

The Opportunity

We're building the Las Vegas chapter, and we're looking for four Chapter Directors to build it.

You'll be part of a five-person Executive Leadership Pod shaping how this club shows up in your city - who's in the room, what the nights look like, and how members feel when they walk out. You'll help assemble our Las Vegas chapter:: the curated group of leaders who set the culture, tone, and rhythm of a chapter before anyone else arrives.

You'll do it with the brand, the systems, and the national momentum behind you. And you'll build a recurring income stream from every member you bring in.

Vegas is one of the most connected cities in America. Someone is going to build this room. It should be you.

What You'll Own

Your revenue streams:

  • Membership enrollments and renewals
  • Performance bonuses
  • Partnerships and sponsorships

Your responsibilities:

  • Curate membership - invite the right people, protect the room
  • Build authentic relationships across your industry niche
  • Enroll 3-10+ new members monthly (top performers average 7+)
  • Host and drive attendance to the chapter's signature monthly experiences
  • Work with your Pod to create experiences members talk about for months
  • Compound your income through the relationships you build
Who You Are

You're the person who already knows everyone worth knowing - and who people trust with an introduction.

You bring:

  • Real relationships with founders, CEOs, and executives in Las Vegas
  • A track record in business development, sales, or entrepreneurship
  • High emotional intelligence and a natural instinct for connecting people
  • Presence that earns respect in a room full of decision-makers
  • The independence to run your own book, and the character to make a team better
  • Genuine belief in depth over display, connection over transaction
Why This Is Different

The membership sells itself when the room is right. Members join for the people. Your job is to find them.

Real infrastructure behind you. Full onboarding and leadership development, access to our CRM and member platform, national marketing and brand recognition, LinkedIn outreach systems, and proven playbooks from top-performing Directors.

Ownership, not a paycheck. Recurring revenue that compounds. No earnings cap. A protected niche within your market. A clear path to expanded leadership.

You're early. 35+ chapters today. 100 U.S. locations by the end of 2028. 50,000 leaders connected globally. The vision is bigger than any one chapter, and the people who build the foundation get the upside.

Earning Potential

Compensation Potential For Membership Sales Only

Performance Scenarios:

  • Solid Performer (3 members/month): $54,000/year
  • Strong Performer (5 members/month): $90,000/year
  • Top Performer (7+ members/month): $126,000+/year

Plus additional revenue from renewals, partnerships, and special initiatives.

The Founding Las Vegas Chapter Starts With You

We're selecting four Directors for Las Vegas who understand that the strongest communities aren't sold, they're felt.

If you've spent your career bringing people together and never got paid what it was worth, this is the seat.

Apply now.

CEO Life is building the future of executive connection through three pillars: Gather (authentic relationships), Grow (leadership development), and Give (community impact). Join us in creating something extraordinary.
