Position Summary:Reporting to the Director, Strategic Channels, the Foodservice Commercial Strategy Manager serves as the central planer for the Food Service channel, connecting Commercial Strategy, Sales (BDMs), Field Sales (Sales Broker), and Marketing to deliver channel strategy, annual plans, commercial tools, and performance routines.This role serves as the Foodservice channel strategy lead and subject-matter expert, enabling Sales and Marketing to drive profitable growth, improved execution, and stronger business development. The role translates strategy, data, and insights into clear plans, selling tools, and performance management, and plays a critical role in aligning cross-functional teams around common priorities and outcomes.The position offers a unique opportunity to influence enterprise-wide outcomes while developing strong, sustainable relationships across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain.Organization: Key internal stakeholders include Foodservice Sales (BDMs), Field Sales (Sales Broker), Marketing, Revenue Growth Management, Finance, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, DS/CIA, and Sales Operations.Key Deliverables:Foodservice channel strategy and annual strategic planAnnual Operating Plan (AOP) planning materials and performance updatesSales enablement decks and innovation commercialization supportPricing and trade recommendationsFoodservice performance scorecardsResponsibilities: Serve as the Foodservice channel strategy lead and subject-matter expert, acting as the central connector across Sales (BDMs), Field Sales (Sales Broker), Marketing, and Finance.Lead development of the Foodservice channel strategy (where to play / how to win) and translate it into clear annual priorities.Own Foodservice inputs into the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), including volume, pricing, trade, initiative assumptions, and performance tracking.Develop and maintain Foodservice selling stories and sales enablement tools that support customer engagement and business development.Partner with RGM and Finance to support Foodservice pricing strategy, customer P&L, and margin optimization.Support Foodservice trade strategy and governance, including investment effectiveness and optimization recommendations.Act as Foodservice advocate for innovation commercialization, ensuring strong channel fit, launch readiness, and performance monitoring.Translate data and insights into actionable recommendations, opportunity sizing, and simplified commercial narratives.Define and embed the Perfect Foodservice Channel Approach, including portfolio, pricing, trade, and execution standards.Own Foodservice performance scorecards, leading performance reviews and identifying risks, opportunities, and corrective actions.Drive cross-functional alignment and accountability across initiatives, escalating decisions and trade-offs as required.Potential Career Progression:Progressive and lateral moves into Sales and Marketing.Qualifications, Education & Experience:A University Degree.
