What you’ll be doing…

You’ll bring a consultative selling approach to create sales strategies, marketing opportunities and incentive programs that drive sales and profitability through our door-to-door and big box channels. You’ll be helping us sell our 5G Home and wireless services through others to bring our best‑in‑class solutions to customers through our partners. You’ll be the one to ensure that our brand is well represented by these third‑party vendors. We provide the best options for our customers, and you’ll be making sure they’re available in the best way possible.

  • Leading teams of 3rd party vendors by establishing and nurturing relationships to drive channel growth and achieve sales objectives.

  • Communicating channel goals, driving key metric results, facilitating training, managing sales funnels and conducting field observation with our 3rd party vendors.

  • Maintaining strong relationships with both internal (Marketing, WNO, VEC, Retail, Compliance) and external (Vendor operations, National Retailers) stakeholders.

  • Keeping informed regarding industry information, new product information, and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance of sales teams.

  • Handling customer escalations and resolution of complex customer issues.

  • Executing action plans to position sales for maximum revenue growth and market penetration.

  • Performing market analysis of territory area to ensure proper staffing and management of campaign lead lists and store assignments.

  • Evaluating marketplace strategies and sales penetration opportunities to maximize revenue attainment.

This role will cover Alabama, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Mississippi with the potential to grow. The successful candidate must be based out of Mobile, AL.

You’ll need to have:
  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Four or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.

  • Experience in sales and management leading a sales team.

  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 75% of the time.

  • Valid driver’s license.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:
  • A degree.

  • Experience in managing complex projects with internal and external team members.

  • Experience in setting direction, influencing and managing internal and external partners to accomplish objectives.

  • Experience in working with cross functional teams across all levels of the organization.

  • Experience in creating spreadsheets, collecting and analyzing data to make appropriate process/business decisions and recommendations.

  • Knowledge of Verizon 5G Home and Wireless Products.

  • Experience in communicating effectively with all levels in the organization (e.g., verbal, written and facilitating executive‑level presentations).

  • Experience in both Verizon Wireless and door to door sales experience.

  • Ability to meet individual and/or team sales targets.

  • Experience in working with Google’s G‑suite (e.g., Docs, Sheets) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).

Where you’ll be working

In this mobile role, you'll primarily work from customer or field location(s), with occasional visits to a Verizon location for in‑person training and meetings.
