Trident Consulting is seeking a " Channel Operations Specialist (SAP | Order-to-Cash)” for one of our client in " Boston, MA "A global leader in business and technology services.


Position: Channel Operations Specialist (SAP | Order-to-Cash)

Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid – 1 Day Onsite)

Pay Rate: 52/hr. on W2

Duration: 12 Months

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 40 Hours/Week

Employment Type: Contract


Position Summary

  • We are seeking a Senior Specialist – Channel Operations & Customer Service to support channel operations and customer service functions for a leading life sciences organization. This role is critical to ensuring operational excellence across the order-to-cash (O2C) lifecycle while supporting revenue generation, customer satisfaction, and process optimization.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong SAP experience (required), expertise in order-to-cash processes, customer service operations, cross-functional collaboration, and data analysis. Experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry is highly preferred.


Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and review complex customer transactions with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for wholesalers, pharmacies, and other channel partners.
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for order-to-cash (O2C) processes and channel operations.
  • Analyze operational data to identify process inefficiencies, revenue leakage, and root causes.
  • Lead and support cross-functional process improvement and system optimization initiatives.
  • Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, Trade, and IT teams to improve operational workflows.
  • Drive SAP system utilization and process automation to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Develop corrective and preventive actions to enhance operational stability.
  • Maintain SOPs, process documentation, and standard operating procedures.
  • Mentor junior team members on customer service processes, issue resolution, and system functionality.
  • Prepare operational reports and provide business insights to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Supply Chain, Commercial Operations, Customer Service, or Channel Operations.
  • Hands-on SAP experience (Mandatory).
  • Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional business teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Order-to-Cash (O2C), Serialization, and Distribution Operations.
  • Experience supporting Channel Operations or Commercial Operations.
  • Continuous Improvement and Process Optimization experience.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.
