We are a privately owned, network marketing company that is in the business of developing and selling personal care products through an independent sales network and have been in business since 1999.

This role will focus primarily on product-related collateral including flash sale emails, multichannel product marketing campaigns, product education materials, ecommerce copy and promotional copy. The ideal candidate will be a genuine copy chameleon: able to adapt and display brilliance regardless of the topic or channel, ranging from instant hooks in flash sale emails to in-depth descriptions of our naturally based ingredients and their benefits.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Product-Focused Brand Voice: Write fresh, on-brand copy that reflects SeneGence’s personality and resonates with beauty-savvy consumers and our independent distributor network.
  • Product Storytelling: Transform product features, ingredient benefits, and performance claims into compelling beauty narratives that inspire purchase and brand loyalty.
  • Global Market Messaging: Create grammatically correct, engaging copy in the SeneGence voice and tone for diverse global audiences.
  • Campaign Content: Support the creation of copy for seasonal launches, holiday collections, limited editions, and promotional events with language that excites and engages.
  • Multi-Channel Writing: Develop persuasive copy for email campaigns, product descriptions, e-commerce pages, social media posts, influencer kits, brochures, and training materials.
  • SEO & Beauty Trends: Apply SEO best practices while incorporating trending beauty terms and language that aligns with consumer search behaviors.
  • Creative Concept Support: Interpret creative direction from product and promotional briefs into persuasive copy concepts with strong calls to action.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Creative, Product Development, and Training teams to ensure messaging supports brand objectives and product positioning.
  • Quality Control: Proofread and edit copy to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Email Campaign Support: Draft and review test emails using Campaign Monitor or similar email marketing tools, ensuring clarity, brand consistency, and engagement.
  • Product & Shade Naming: Contribute creative, trend-forward ideas for product names, shade names, and collection titles that align with the brand’s positioning.

Qualifications Required For Position

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism, Advertising, English or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Requires at least 2 years’ experience in a Copywriting position in both print and web.
  • Must have an understanding of SEO/SEM best practices.
  • Must have familiarity with AI tools.
  • Detail-oriented and data driven.
  • Must possess competent storytelling, and creative writing as well as technical writing skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook.
  • Must be comfortable to adapting to several voices, as there will be ghostwriting responsibilities.
  • Must have working knowledge/experience with AP Style Book Style.
  • Requires strong grammatical and verbal skills and must be an excellent speller.
  • Must possess a flexible approach and willingness to adapt ideas to the needs of the clients.
  • Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and adjust as necessary to meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Requires strong computer and organizational skills, keen eye for details and the ability to verify all copy is accurately stated.

Physical Demands
