Account Manager - Business Development
About the Position
As an Account Manager in the Business Development group, we are looking for a dynamic and relationship-driven individual to join our vibrant sales team. This role is all about growing existing accounts and qualifying inbound leads, with a strong emphasis on creating an exceptional experience for our clients. While prior sales experience is not a must, a robust technical background is highly valued. The ideal candidate is driven, adept at building meaningful relationships, coachable, and self-aware. They should also resonate deeply with our core values and be passionate about delivering unparalleled service to our clients. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of our efforts to enhance client satisfaction and drive business growth.

This opportunity is available to both local / in-office (Lakewood, CO) and full-time remote candidates.


Essential Responsibilities
Account Growth: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to identify opportunities for account growth and expansion.
Lead Qualification: Qualify inbound leads and convert them into potential sales opportunities.
Client Engagement and Success: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and providing exceptional customer service.
Sales Strategy: Work with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company goals.
Reporting: Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities using HubSpot CRM software.
Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to identify new business opportunities.


Must Have
Education: Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or similar field from an accredited institution preferred.
Experience: 6+ years of experience in a similar engineering or proposal role
Previous experience in cost estimating, proposal writing, and/or technical sales is highly preferred.
Good interpersonal and people skills
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis


Working Conditions
Work Environment: Work is performed in an office setting and some field work may be required

Travel: Typical: 10 - 15%

Physical Activities: Must be able to lift 25lbs.
