Job Purpose
Lead, manage, and govern all Project Controls activities for complex EPC/EPCI projects, ensuring effective planning, cost and schedule control, risk and change management, contractual compliance, and high-quality reporting. The role provides assurance to the business and clients that projects are executed in accordance with contractual, financial governance, and performance requirements, while supporting Project Managers and Project Directors in achieving project objectives and maximizing value driving decision support.
Job Description
Strategic & Project Controls Leadership
  • Provide overall leadership of all Project Controls and Project Services functions on the project, including Cost Control, Planning & Scheduling, Risk, Change Management, Document Control, and Reporting.
  • Act as the commercial and governance arm of the project, supporting the Project Manager and Project Director.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, internal policies, and project controls standards.

Planning, Scheduling & Performance Management
  • Governance and assurance of the integrated project baseline (cost, schedule, and scope) aligned with the execution strategy.
  • Oversee development and maintenance of project schedules, progress measurement systems, rules of credit, and critical path analysis.
  • Monitor performance, trends, and productivity; recommend corrective and recovery actions where required.

Cost Control, Forecasting & Financial Interface
  • Analyze cost control, forecasting (Life of Project), contingency management, and variance analysis.
  • Analyze earned value and productivity trends to provide early warning and decision support.
  • Coordinate closely with Finance on invoicing, billing, cash flow, margin protection and revenue recognition.
  • Ensure integrity and accuracy of project data within ERP and cost control systems.

You are meant for this job if:
  • Strong knowledge of Project Controls principles, PMBOK, and Earned Value Management.
  • Advanced capability in cost control, planning, scheduling, forecasting, and risk management.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, SAP/ERP systems, and reporting tools.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis (Power BI desirable).
  • Relevant Bachelor or Master degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as project controls, Engineering, Project management, or Business administration
  • Minimum 10-15 years of progressive experience in Project Controls, Cost Control, Planning & Scheduling, or Project Management.
  • Proven experience on large EPC/EPCI or Subsea projects.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing project controls resources
