Job Description
  • Responsible for particle size instrument and method validation for the B313 Analytical Laboratory.
  • Specific activities and responsibilities include but are not limited to create validation plans, protocols and document changes through the validation and change control processes.
  • Perform method validations by executing particle size testing.
  • Troubleshooting instrument and method problems.
  • Demonstrate understanding and effective use of statistical quality control, including use of control charts: plotting data and reacting to out-of-control situations.
  • Works A shift and may require flexible hours to touch base with all 3 shifts during validation activities.
  • Collaboration and teamwork with coating, formulation, quality engineering, validation, product support, Quality labs and R&D personnel.
  • Creates non-conformances and deviation reports as required.
Qualifications
  • BS degree in Science, Engineering, or other related field is required, Master's degree a plus.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a laboratory is required.
  • Experience in Method Validation, OTIS or Track wise a plus.
  • Experience in analytical instrument / method validation is required, particle size analysis is a plus
