The Senior Manager, Construction-DS, leads the execution and delivery of construction projects, ensuring completion on schedule, within scope, and budget. This role directs contractors and design partners to maintain compliance with Walmart’s standards and applicable regulations. The position requires proactive risk management, cross-functional collaboration, and oversight of project governance from pre-construction through closeout. The manager drives process improvements, enforces quality control, and provides leadership to project teams while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders to support operational priorities and achieve consistent, high-quality construction outcomes.

The team leads large-scale infrastructure and facility projects within distribution centers, focusing on site preparation for advanced automation. They collaborate closely with design and implementation partners to ensure seamless integration of new systems. With strong expertise in industrial facility projects and technical knowledge in electrical and mechanical engineering, the team manages complex, cross-functional initiatives across multiple locations. Emphasizing effective communication, risk management, and project performance, their strategic project management supports timely delivery of critical milestones and enhances operational capabilities throughout the organization.
What you'll do:
  • Lead construction project execution to ensure timely delivery within scope and budget, directing contractors and design partners to meet approved standards.
