Join a company on a mission to expand grid capacity and create a cleaner and stronger energy infrastructure in Texas with with addition of a EMS\/SCADA Transmission Control Center Leader. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

\n This role will help drive transmission control center operation plans in compliance with NERC and ERCOT reliability standards. It is a leadership role and the expectation is that the incumbent will have management experience building out or leading transmission control centers in ERCOT (Texas). However, similar experience in other ISOs\/RTOs will be considered.<\/b><\/span><\/span>

  • Transmission Control Center Leader \/ Transmission Operations Manager \- Develop capital control center transmission operations and budget

  • Transmission Control Center Leader \/ Transmission Operations Manager \- <\/span><\/span>Develop operations strategy that coincides with ERCOT and NERC reliability standards
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • Transmission Control Center Leader \/ Transmission Operations Manager \- <\/span><\/span>Plan and implement contingency plans, emergency response, and system outages for operation of bulk electric system
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • Transmission Control Center Leader \/ Transmission Operations Manager \- <\/span><\/span>Attend ERCOT meetings\/work groups and provide testimony at regulatory and legal proceedings related to ERCOT and NERC filings<\/span><\/span>

    • Degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems Engineering<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    • 10 years of transmission operations, SCADA\/EMS operations, or control center operations<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • At least 5 years of transmission control center operations management<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Familiarity with Open Systems International (OSI) or GE Reliance SCADA\/EMS <\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Understanding of NERC and ERCOT reliability standards and policies<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>\n
