The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As a(n) Logistics Supervisor you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Serve as a member of the Forest City Distribution Center Operating Committee and direct supervisor for the Inventory, Customer Service, and Return Goods departments.
  • Determine departmental procedures that sets the standards for continuous improvements.
  • Support the warehouse operation in leading improvement activities in the Inventory, Customer Service, and Return Goods areas to maximize output, minimize operation costs, and support a positive work environment.
  • Be a core resource for the implementation of a new enterprise resource planning software at the Forest City Distribution Center.
  • Willingness to be on-call and support the Inventory Control, Customer Service, and Return Goods core tasks at the Forest City Distribution Center than runs 7 days per week.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or higher AND a minimum of (4) four years of Supply Chain Experience in a private, public, government, or military environment

OR

High School Diploma/GED from AND a minimum of (8) eight years in Supply Chain Experience in a private, public, government, or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • 3 years of leadership experience
  • Experience leading lean six sigma and / or continuous improvement projects.
  • Proven experience in learning and implementing new systems in operation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written format to a variety of size audiences.
  • Experience using SAP Enterprise Resource Planning system a plus.

Work location: Onsite- Forest City, Iowa

Travel: May include up to 5% domestic/international
