HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE: The Quality Manager will work with key partners across the organization to implement and govern the quality management system for Henderson Products. This role will help the organization to achieve continued success in their respective industries. The Quality Manager will work diligently to improve internal and external processes, practices and products to provide the best customer experience.

  • Assess all quality planning, quality assurance, and quality control activities across the organization
  • Lead Technical Support Team
  • Establish, maintain and improve KPIs for Quality and Tech Support Teams
  • Implement and maintain a Quality Management System
  • Provide expert level guidance to the organization in the area of quality
  • Work with Douglas Dynamics Learning Center and the quality community to establish skill development plans related to product quality
  • Lead quality action team meetings
  • Expand quality product metrics for both quantitative and qualitative data
  • Work with the operations team to maintain lineside quality boards
WHAT THIS ROLE NEEDS:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or BS equivalent with emphasis on quality management required
  • 5+ years of experience in a quality organization
  • Experience in durable goods development and manufacturing preferred
  • MS Office, Office 365, and Teams proficient
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Flexible work style to meet manage multiple duties, deadlines
  • Excellent analytical and data analysis skills
  • Travel will be required on occasion (~25%)
