What is Change Church?

Change Church is a non-denominational Christian church known for its contemporary worship style, practical teachings, and emphasis on community engagement. Founded by Dr. Dharius Daniels, the church aims to help people change their lives through faith, personal development, and service. Change Church typically offers weekend services, midweek programs, and outreach initiatives, both in-person and online, to support spiritual growth and community involvement. The church welcomes individuals from diverse backgrounds and encourages participation in small groups, volunteer opportunities, and leadership development.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a church leader, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Church Leader, you need theological education, leadership experience, and a deep understanding of pastoral care. Familiarity with church management software, public speaking tools, and often ordination or ministry certifications are typically required. Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to inspire and guide a congregation are critical soft skills in this role. These skills and qualities are vital for fostering spiritual growth, effective administration, and a supportive community environment.
