Job description

Connexa Search Group is partnering with a boutique, privately held wealth advisory firm in the Greenville, SC area, to search for a relationship manager to work with existing clients and referral sources for new clients. Please feel free to reach out to Brandon Clark directly to ensure your resume is reviewed in a timely fashion.

This is a senior relationship manager role with a boutique, privately held wealth firm known for a client-first, long-term approach. The senior relationship manager serves as the primary relationship point for high-net-worth clients, working alongside internal planning, portfolio management, and fiduciary teams to deliver tailored financial guidance. The firm is committed to growth without compromising on service quality and has built a model that rewards advisors who prioritize relationships and steady, organic book development.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary relationship contact for high-net-worth client accounts, coordinating across internal planning, investment, and fiduciary teams to deliver a comprehensive client experience.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of each client's financial goals, time horizon, risk tolerance, and lifestyle considerations.
  • Prepare investment policy statements and translate client priorities into clear direction for internal portfolio management resources.
  • Build and grow client relationships through referrals, centers of influence, and existing client networks.
  • Once trained, support fiduciary and trust-related client work as part of the firm's full-service offering.
  • Coordinate with external advisors, including estate planning attorneys and tax professionals, as part of each client's broader advisory team.
  • Conduct regular client review meetings and provide consistent communication on portfolio updates, performance, and life events.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a financial relationship manager, advisor, wealth manager, broker, trust officer, or in a comparable client-facing wealth advisory role.
  • Series 65 required (firm will support obtaining if needed).
  • CFP, CFA, CTFA, or insurance designations preferred but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to discuss complex financial concepts in clear, client-friendly terms.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple client relationships, and proactively identify client needs.
  • Genuine commitment to a fiduciary, client-first advisory approach.
