Job Description
This job is on site in Knoxville, TN
This position requires candidates to be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
The Senior Analyst, Financial Reporting plays a key role in preparing, analyzing, and delivering accurate and timely financial statements and disclosures. This role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, advanced analytical skills, and the ability to interpret complex financial data. The Senior Analyst partners closely with Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, and other cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and regulatory requirements. This position supports monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles; assists with audit activities; and contributes to process improvements that enhance reporting quality, efficiency, and consistency.
Essential Job Functions
1) Complete Sarbanes Oxley compliance as it relates to monthly/quarterly/annual controls.
2) Conduct financial analysis and reporting; prepare and review various financial reports across the company.
3) Perform GAAP research on complex financial accounting issues.
4) Assist annual audit with preparation of quarterly and annual financial documents supporting the company's external financial statement audit.
5) Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
