Job Summary:

The Deputy Chief Financial Officer (Deputy CFO) supports the CFO in shaping financial strategy, elevating operational performance, and delivering accurate, timely reporting across a high-growth, multi-entity organization. This senior, hands-on leader oversees financial planning and analysis, treasury, internal controls, and compliance while partnering across departments to drive results and inform decisions with actionable insights. The Deputy CFO also mentors the finance team and serves as a trusted advisor-and stand-in-for the CFO as needed.

Responsibilities

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting across brands and entities while ensuring strong internal controls, risk management, and regulatory compliance. You'll oversee cash flow, treasury operations, and banking relationships; monitor KPIs and financial metrics to surface trends and improvement opportunities; and partner with department heads to support strategic initiatives with clear analysis and business cases. You'll manage and develop a high-performing finance team, coordinate audits and tax planning with external firms, refine processes and systems for accuracy and efficiency, and serve as a strategic advisor-and stand-in-for the CFO when needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or MBA strongly preferred
  • 8+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience, including leadership roles
  • Experience in multi-entity, high-volume, or franchised environments preferred
  • Strong financial modeling, budgeting, and analytical skills
  • Deep knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • High integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling sensitive information
