MANTECH seeks a motivated, career-oriented, and customer-focused Financial Analyst to join our team in Herndon, VA. In this role, you will support the Program Management Office (PMO) by overseeing financial operations, labor tracking, billing coordination, and collaboration with customer finance organizations. The position is responsible for ensuring accurate timesheet processing, charge code administration, financial reporting, project closeout support, and compliance with customer and corporate financial policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage PCA and billing support operations across multiple projects and programs, including timesheet reconciliation, ServiceNow approvals, charge code administration, and labor hour tracking to ensure compliance and financial accuracy.
  • Monitor financial performance and workforce utilization by tracking Minimum Standard Hours, subcontractor burn rates, CAPT activity, LWOP, and special project labor hours while providing analytical reporting and recommendations.
  • Analyze financial data for trend identification and opportunities for improvement.  Provide recommendations to management.
  • Support financial management and reporting activities through preparation of PMR financial slides, maintenance of finance spreadsheets, CAPT submissions/corrections, and reconciliation of employee and subcontractor timesheets.
  • Collaborate with customer finance teams, subcontractors, partners, and internal stakeholders to support project closeouts, SLA reviews, demand reviews, and financial reconciliation activities.
  • Utilize strong analytical, budgeting, and advanced Excel skills to identify discrepancies, process timesheet and project adjustments, maintain financial records, and support overall program financial operations.
  • Perform special projects and analyses as required by management or other stakeholders.
  • Provide support to ad-hoc requests from leadership which may include resource analysis and/or management.
  • Travel locally between customer buildings and support temporary assignments as required.
  • Support coverage as part of a team operating between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM working an 8-hour shift.

Basic Qualifications

  • HS Diploma and 11+ years of relevant experience OR associate's degree and 9+ years of experience OR Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with experience managing budgets, financial tracking activities, and labor reconciliation processes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including reporting, financial tracking, and reconciliation functions.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and financial processes simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven experience collaborating effectively with subcontracts, partners, program teams, and customer finance organizations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using ServiceNow for timesheet monitoring and approvals.
  • Experience supporting government or contract-based financial operations.
  • Familiarity with CAPT processes and PMR reporting requirements.
  • Experience supporting project closeouts and SLA reviews.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
  • Must be able to move/traverse within and between buildings and offices.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

The projected compensation range for this position is $119,900.00-$199,600.00.
