Requirements:

VMG Health is seeking a Financial Analyst on our Compensation Valuation team to assist with performing financial analyses, valuation excel modeling, due diligence, market research and report writing.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Gather information and data such as, but not limited to, financial statements, operational reports, industry and market research, and any other data or information required to thoroughly provide the contracted product to the client.
  • Construct and take ownership of complex financial models.
  • Perform various financial analyses, develop financial models, conduct due diligence, and complete report writing. Review own work to ensure excellence.
  • Participate in meetings and site visits as necessary and determined by leaders.
  • Keep all projects and deliverables on the time schedule established with the client. Continually inform relevant team members of project progress and immediately inform leader if circumstances arise to impede or jeopardize that timeline.
  • Show initiative to become a thought leader within the industry by helping author internal and external content for articles and presentations.
  • Complete administrative functions, mandatory training, and other internal responsibilities, in a timely manner.
  • Remain flexible and adaptable in work schedule and assignments as defined by departmental and company need.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and contributes to a positive work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in accounting, finance and/or economics
  • Strong knowledge of financial theory and/or economics.
  • Financial modeling experience.
  • Actively pursue continuing education and professional certifications such as Chartered Financial Analysis (CFA), National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA), American Society of Appraisers American Society of Appraisers (ASA), or Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Public Accounting, etc.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced experience in Excel.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several proficient in Microsoft Office; strong knowledge of Excel and Word.
