Studentnest is a fast-growing nationwide tutoring company that provides tutoring to 8th-12th grade students in Math.

Job Details

Schedule:

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00AM-2:00PM
  • 25 hours per week
  • July 6th - August 7th

Job Highlights

  • Pay rate:
    • $22 per hour standard
    • $23 per hour if bilingual (Spanish or other preferred language based on site request)
    • $24 per hour if credentialed teacher or certificated tutor

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of 60 units of college credits with a minimum of 1 year of tutoring experience in Math
  • Proficiency in high level math as tutoring is for high school students (Pre-Algebra, Algebra 2)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and highly dependable
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Motivation and passion to help students achieve academic excellence
  • Must have reliable transportation for in-person tutoring. If driving, proof of insurance for your vehicle is needed
  • In this role you will need to be able to meet DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance requirements for this position
  • Must provide a negative tuberculosis test (valid within the last 2 years)
  • Please provide a copy of any certification you hold such as a Teacher’s Credential/Certification or Tutor Certification
  • National Tutoring Association certification available to StudentNest tutors
