Job Title: Certified Project Manager

 Location: Takoma , WA

Duration: 1+ years

Mode of Interview: Phone or In-person

Proactively communicate and collaborate with business partners to analyze business and functional

requirements in preparation for building a business case and/or initiating a project.

Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-

level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish requests from the underlying true needs.

Negotiate with stakeholders or vendors to obtain resources or materials (e.g. staff/skills, funding,

training, and hardware/software).

Work independently with business and technology personnel to define concepts and approaches for

planning, analyzing, executing, and transitioning project deliverables.

Strong analytical and business skills required, including a thorough understanding of how tointerpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a

diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.

Successfully establish and execute a project management plan and sub-plans including schedule,

charter, budget, resources, etc.

Monitor and control the project through the use of issue logs, risk assessments and mitigation,

change management, status reports, and communication plans.

Manage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope.

Monitor or track project milestones and deliverables.

Identify, review, or select vendors or consultants to meet project needs.

Direct or coordinate activities of project personnel.

Assign duties, responsibilities, and spans of authority to project personnel.

Perform risk assessments to develop response strategies.

Transition project deliverables to operations and ensure project objectives were met.

Serves as the liaison between UTS and our business partners.

Facilitate design workshop format and logistics for the requirements and process modeling design.

Ensure adherence to TPU PMO policies.

Experience with applying standard project methodologies including Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid

methodologies.

Possess expertise in organization change management, the people side of change, to create a

collaborative environment to bring diverse views together for a common approach to business

processes and solutions.

Strong leadership skills.

SAP/IS-U business process, Data Center, SOA, telecom, network experience, etc.

Desired Experience:

Master's degree in business, project management, computer science or a related field

Six Sigma Greenbelt and or Blackbelt experience and or certifications
