Job Summary and Responsibilities

As ourย Risk-Patient Safety Manager, you will be a key player inย healthcare risk management, drivingย patient safety initiativesย and ensuringย regulatory complianceย within our hospital. This pivotal leadership role focuses on proactiveย risk preventionย and effectiveย loss mitigation strategies, aligning with administrative leadership to safeguard patient well-being and uphold our commitment to quality care. Every day you will oversee the comprehensiveย incident reporting system, conducting thorough investigations andย root cause analyses (RCA)ย to identify and address potential risks. You'll lead impactfulย Patient Safety and Risk Management activities, facilitateย liability claim management, and actively participate inย Hospital Performance Improvementย committees. Your responsibilities will also include meticulous preparation ofย risk management reports, ensuring adherence toย Joint Commissionย andย CMS standards, and maintaining constant readiness forย accreditationย andย licensing surveys.

To be successful in this role, you will need aย Bachelor's degreeย (Master's preferred) and a strong background inย healthcare risk management, ideally with aย Registered Nurse (RN) licenseย andย Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM)ย certification. You must possess excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills, coupled with a proven ability to lead and collaborate effectively across various departments.
