Job description

PROJECT MANAGER

LS Electric Utah is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead customer projects from sales order entry through shipment. Youโ€™ll serve as the primary customer contact, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards โ€” all while maintaining our ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS).

What Youโ€™ll Do:
  • Manage the full project life cycle โ€” schedule, budget, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead communication between design, procurement, production, quality, and logistics.
  • Track budgets with Engineering and Purchasing; report variances.
  • Serve as the main customer liaison, handle change requests, and provide regular updates.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and deliver status reports to stakeholders.
  • Oversee final product delivery readiness and coordinate shipments or installations.
Required:
  • Proven project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with MRP systems, CAD, MS Project, and Gantt chart tracking.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Preferred:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Engineering, Professional Communication, or related field -
  • PMP certification with relevant experience
  • Technical degree with 3+ yearsโ€™ related experience.
  • Understanding of electrical protection and control systems.
