Imagine Art AmeriCorps Program
The Imagine Art AmeriCorps programs offers opportunities to Artists-in-Residence, those interested in Peer Support and the Culinary Arts. The intent of the program is to empower artists with disabilities by teaching job readiness skills and providing a full spectrum of support. Artist-in-Residence: The AmeriCorps Members in our Art Program serve as teaching Artist-in-Residence and provide direct educational and support services and mentorship to adult artists with disabilities. Peer Support Services: Members in the Peer Support area will facilitate the training and certification program for peer support and help peers to coordinate after hours and social events for the Live+Make community. Culinary Services: Members in the Culinary Arts area will provide instruction and mentorship in customer service, food service operations, menu development, cooking skills, food safety and gardening. Imagine Art recruits individuals to serve as Full-Time and Half-Time AmeriCorps Members in the Imagine Arts AmeriCorps Program. The service year begins on September 2, 2025 and extends through July 28, 2026. Members receive a Living Allowance and are paid twice a month. Full Time - $20,400 for 1,700 service hours Half Time - $10,200 for 900 service hours Full Time Members are eligible for health insurance through the market place and childcare benefits. Upon achieving their service hours all Members are eligible for the Segal Education Award: $7,395 award for 1,700 completed service hours $3,697.50 award for 900 completed service hours Member can receive the equivalent of two full time education awards.
