American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Inpatient Rehabilitation unit requiring 2 years of rehabilitation nursing experience and an active FL or compact RN license.

Details
  • Work in a 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital
  • Assigned to the Rehab Nursing IRF unit on floors 1-2
  • Patient population includes individuals recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
  • Patient ratio of 1:8
  • Uses Cerner EHR
  • Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
  • Every other weekend required
  • No on-call requirements
Requirements
  • Active RN license (FL or Compact) currently in hand
  • Current BLS certification (AHA)
  • Minimum of 2 years rehabilitation nursing experience required
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
  • Basic computer knowledge and strong verbal and written English communication skills required
  • Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
  • Provide rehabilitation nursing care to patients recovering from a wide range of severe injuries and illnesses
  • Must be a cooperative team player with a positive attitude
  • Navy blue scrubs required
  • Report time is 6:45 AM/6:45 PM depending on shift
