Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR Circulator RN with strength in multiple surgical specialties and Cerner experience for a day shift position with call.

Details
  • Operating Room department in a hospital setting
  • Circulator role supporting surgical procedures across Ortho, Neuro, Robotics, ENT, General Surgery, Urology, Vascular, and Gyn specialties
  • Day shift schedule from 6:30a-5p or 6:30a-7p with call requirement
  • Expected to float between campuses as needed
  • Uses Cerner EMR
Requirements
  • Active FL or Compact RN license
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Minimum 2 years of recent OR Circulator experience
  • Cerner EMR experience required
  • CNOR certification preferred
  • AHCA fingerprinting required for all FL travelers prior to start
  • Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment
  • No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
  • Valid driver's license and US Social Security Number required for consideration
Additional Information
  • Serve as a member of the surgical team collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and leadership in planning patient care within the OR
  • Ensure supply readiness, case timeliness, and communication with patient families
  • Responsible for updating physician preference cards and scrubbing in to assist during surgical cases
  • Supervise personnel delivering patient care during procedures
  • Care delivered according to State Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and regulatory standards
  • Local candidates within a 50-mile radius will not be considered
  • Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible for this travel position
