Job description

Job Summary:

Medaptus is hiring an Implementation Consultant to lead end-to-end deployments of Medaptus's suite of EHR-integrated healthcare revenue cycle and patient assignment solutions - including charge capture, infusion coding automation, and patient assignment tools - at physician group, hospital and health-system clients.

Job Description:

About the Role

Medaptus is hiring an Implementation Consultant to lead end-to-end deployments of Medaptus's suite of EHR-integrated healthcare revenue cycle and patient assignment solutions - including charge capture, infusion coding automation, and patient assignment tools - at physician group, hospital and health-system clients. This role owns the client relationship from kickoff through go-live and early post-go-live support - running workflow assessments, configuring the system, coordinating technical integrations with EHR platforms (Epic, Cerner, and others), validating data feeds, training end users, and troubleshooting issues that arise once the solution is live.

This is a highly client-facing, cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of healthcare operations, clinical workflow design, and technical systems integration. You'll work directly with hospital IT teams, physician leadership, nursing/admin staff, and Medaptus's internal engineering and support teams to deliver successful implementations on a typical 90-day timeline, and to support accounts through steady-state operation afterward.

What You'll Do
  • Lead new client implementations from kickoff through go-live, typically on a ~90-day timeline, managing scope, project hours, and milestones.
  • Maintain clear, current project documentation (project plans, status trackers, meeting notes, action items) and communicate status to internal and client stakeholders.
  • Coordinate technical integration work with client IT teams: VPN/tunnel connectivity, interface feeds, etc
  • Run workflow assessment sessions with client stakeholders to map current-state processes and design the future-state configuration.
  • Lead interface and data validation testing
  • Deliver end-user training and provide on-site or remote go-live support.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts post go-live, triaging and troubleshooting configuration issues, distribution problems, and interface discrepancies.
  • Partner with support, engineering, and product teams to scope and escalate product enhancement requests based on client feedback.
  • Share on-call coverage on a rotating basis to ensure clients have timely support for urgent issues outside standard business hours.
  • Assist with sales demonstrations occasionally, showcasing product workflow and configuration capabilities to prospective clients.
What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare IT implementation, clinical systems consulting, EHR integration, or a related client-facing technical role.
  • Strong project management skills - able to independently manage multiple concurrent client implementations against a defined timeline.
  • Working knowledge of EHR platforms such as Epic, Cerner and/or MEDITECH, including ADT feeds and interface concepts (HL7 or similar).
  • Experience with, or strong aptitude for, healthcare revenue cycle and/or care-coordination workflow concepts (charge capture, coding, patient assignment/rounding teams, admitting/consulting relationships)
  • Excellent stakeholder communication skills; comfortable leading meetings with hospital IT directors, physician leadership, and front-line clinical staff.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented approach to troubleshooting - able to gather examples, isolate root cause, and clearly document findings for engineering/support teams.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites approximately 20% of the time for kickoffs, workflow observation, and go-live support.
  • Flexibility to work occasional early mornings or evenings as needed to support client go-lives, training sessions, or time-zone considerations.
  • Bachelor's degree in health informatics, healthcare administration, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
