Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring 3-5 years of cath lab experience and an IN or compact RN license in hand.

Details
  • Work in the Cath Lab unit of a hospital environment
  • Day shift schedule: 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Call required 10-11 total days per month, including weekends
  • Floating required to other units within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals
  • Uses Cerner charting system
Requirements
  • Active RN license (IN or Compact) required in hand prior to start date
  • Current ACLS certification required
  • Minimum 3-5 years of cath lab experience required
  • Cerner EMR charting experience required
  • Skilled in circulating procedures, procedural sedation monitoring, and medication administration
  • Nursing degree from a university accredited by ACEN or CCNE at time of graduation
  • 2 supervisor references required
  • SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
  • Responsible for circulating cath lab procedures and monitoring/administering procedural sedation and medications
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • IN residents are considered local candidates
  • Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
  • RTO of 5 days or less can be auto-approved; additional time off requires facility approval
  • Any previous perm or PRN employee of the health system must be away for 12 months before applying as a traveler
  • Travelers who have accrued 12 months of travel employment within the health system must take a designated consecutive break to reset eligibility
