As a Cerner Interface Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interfaces between the Cerner system and other healthcare applications. Your typical day may include analyzing integration requirements, configuring and testing HL7 interfaces, troubleshooting data exchange issues, and collaborating with both IT and clinical teams to ensure seamless data flow. You’ll often participate in project meetings, coordinate with vendors, and provide technical guidance on interface best practices. This role is highly collaborative, requiring frequent communication with project managers, developers, and end users to optimize integration and address any challenges quickly.
