Job description

Texoma Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Hospitalist Physician to join their team in Denison, Texas. This role offers professional growth and the opportunity to provide quality care within a collaborative environment. Physicians can choose to reside in Denison or the North Dallas suburbs, enjoying a manageable commute to the medical center.

Practice Info

  • Join a team of 28 physicians and 2 advanced practice providers at Texoma Medical Center.
  • Work alongside a culturally diverse team with an equal balance of male and female members.
  • The current model has 12 hospitalists daily, 1 swing physician, 2 nocturnist physicians, and one night advanced practice provider.
  • Utilize Cerner, which has access to an internal informatics platform.

Responsibilities

  • Operate as a well-organized team, utilizing updated systems, teaching tools, and educational programs facilitated by Sound.
  • Serve on various committees, such as the medical executive, utilization management, quality review, sepsis, and stroke.
  • Provide positive patient-centered care to all stakeholders.

Compensation

  • Competitive compensation package offered.

Shift & Schedule

  • This opportunity follows a schedule of 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation with 12-hour shifts.

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Board-certified/eligible in internal medicine or family medicine.
  • ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
  • Active medical license or eligible to become licensed in Texas.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
