  • Advise healthcare clients on end-to-end revenue cycle operations (patient access, charge capture, coding, billing, claims management, collections), and assess/improve RCM performance to enhance reimbursement, reduce denials, and decrease days in A/R.

  • Lead RCM transformation initiatives, including workflow redesign, technology implementation, vendor optimization, and performance measurement using dashboards, spreadsheets, and key metrics.

Digital Health, EHR Workflow Optimization & Health IT Risk
  • Assess Epic and/or Cerner-enabled workflows (and adjacent digital tools) to identify operational friction, control gaps, and technology-related risks across documentation, orders, handoffs, and decision support.

  • Translate qualitative findings (interviews, observations, workflow walkthroughs) and quantitative data (dashboards, operational metrics, and issue logs) into executive-ready insights, prioritization, and measurable improvement opportunities.

  • Partner with IT, informatics, and operational leaders to design and implement workflow, configuration, and governance improvements (including change management and training) aligned to regulatory expectations and leading practices (e.g., CMS SAFER Guides).

Data, Analytics & AI Governance
  • Support clients in establishing data/AI governance (operating model, intake and prioritization, risk and control framework, validation approach, and ongoing monitoring) to enable safe, compliant, and scalable adoption.

  • Define performance metrics and monitoring plans for AI/algorithmic tools (including bias and drift considerations), and translate findings into practical workflow, policy, and technology recommendations.

Digital Strategy, Client Delivery & Practice Growth
  • Develop digital and operational strategies and implementation roadmaps; produce executive-ready deliverables (presentations, reports) and translate findings into actionable recommendations supported by data and analytics.

  • Support business development by building and maintaining a growth pipeline, gathering referrals, and contributing to positioning, teaming, proposals, presentations, and contract negotiations.

  • Partner with executive and operational leaders to assess challenges, align on strategy, and co-design practical, sustainable solutions; maintain timely communication with client and firm leadership.

  • May be required to work extended hours and travel to/work from different firm offices and/or client locations (travel requirements vary by engagement; may be up to 30-75%).

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Administration, Information Systems, Public Health, or related field.

  • 2+ years in a management or supervisory role, with demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage complex projects.

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in healthcare consulting, digital transformation, strategy, healthcare operations, and/or healthcare financial performance improvement (including revenue cycle and/or health IT-enabled optimization).

  • Experience leading technology-enabled operating model, process, and/or performance improvement initiatives (e.g., EHR workflow optimization, analytics enablement, RCM transformation, vendor/tool implementation).

Preferred/Desired Qualifications:
  • Ability to travel based on engagement needs (typically 30-50%; may be up to 60-75% for certain client engagements).

  • Advanced degree preferred (MBA, MHA, MPH, MS, or equivalent).

  • Demonstrated experience in digital health and/or health IT initiatives, including workflow redesign, requirements definition, solution evaluation, implementation support, and benefits realization.

  • Experience with Epic, Cerner, and/or other clinical/operational platforms to support workflow analysis, reporting, or optimization; familiarity with CMS SAFER Guides a plus.

  • Familiarity with healthcare regulatory, privacy, and risk considerations for digital programs (e.g., governance, controls, audit readiness, and safe/appropriate use of data).

  • Strong qualitative and quantitative skillset (data analysis, spreadsheets, dashboards, performance metrics); familiarity with AI governance, model monitoring, and model risk management a plus.
